I was earlier given a soft splint for my bite issues. It didn't help me. I am not sure if Splint is the right solution for me.

There are various types of splints. Soft Splints ususally do not work for TMJ/TMD issues. A hard splint (permissive splint) which has built in occlusal scheme is the recommended in these cases.
